FC Platinum have been dealt a heavy blow ahead of their CAF Champions league campaign with the continental football governing body insisting on CAF Coaching qualifications for all coaches.
The latest development rules out FC Platinum head Coach. Hendrik Pieter De Jongh who is a holder of a UEFA- A coaching badge obtained from Netherlands.
The sad news has rattled the executive which has convened an emergency meeting to deliberate on the issue with Club President, Dr Fabian Mashingaidze saying they are yet to make a decision on the way forward.
The situation has been complicated by the fact that FC Platinum parted ways with Lizwe Sweswe who has the required qualifications while current assistant coach Patrick Mandizha does not have a CAF A Coaching qualification.
