ZIMBABWE international, Dennis Dauda is back in continental club football after joining Zambian Super League side, Napsa Stars who are set to take part in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Former ZPC Kariba and Caps United Defender, Dennis Dauda is on the move in the Zambian Super League after he switched to Napsa Stars from Lusaka Dynamos on a three-year contract.
The move will see Dauda the 32-year old playing in the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup after the club finished fourth in the Zambian top-flight last season.
The Zambia club took to Twitter to confirm the news saying: “Welcome to Napsa Dauda Dennis …The Central Defender joins the Pensioners on a three-year permanent deal. Dauda played for Lusaka Dynamos FC in the Just ended season.”
Dauda moved to Zambia in December 2018 after successful stints with ZPC Kariba, Yadah and Harare giants Caps United.
The central defender is no stranger to continental club football after featuring in the CAF Champions with CAPS United in 2017.
Further afield, Zimbabwe senior national team midfielder, Marshall Munetsi, who has so far featured in all matches for his club this season, save for last Sunday’s tie against PSG, is expected to return to action this Sunday when his Stade de Reims travel to Rennes.
Munetsi received a straight red two weeks ago in Reims’ 2-1 loss to Metz.
Since it was his first expulsion of the season, the league decided to reduce his suspension to just one game, allowing the 24-year old midfielder to return to action a bit earlier than expected.
