More than 1 000 students have graduated from the Women’s University in Africa at its 15th graduation ceremony held at the Celebration Centre Tuesday. Among the graduands from the University’s three faculties were 1000 female while male students were 170.
Vice Chancellor of the Univerity, said WUA will introduce thirteen new programmes in 2020 after seeking and getting approval from the Zimbabwe Council for Hiegher Education/ZIMCHE.
“These new programmes are largely concentrated at postgraduate level as the University moves to expand its postgraduate portfolio across all the faculties. Preparations are on course to ensure that these programmes will be offered beginning of February 2020.” She said.
The Women’s University In Africa was selected to chair the Research Council Of Zimbabwe’s sub-committee on Awards and Exhibitions at the 12th Zimbabwe International Research Symposium.
Some of research papers by the institution’s lecturers were presented at this International research symposium.
The total enrollment of the University stands at 5 176.
