The ministry of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage has issued out a warning to anyone who organizes the public to engage in any form of disturbance.
This follows circulation of messages on Social Media encouraging the public to embark on a stay away today.
The Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage, Cde Cain Mathema assured members of the public that ZRP will deploy adequate officers to maintain law and order throughout the country.
Worker are encouraged to go to work, schools and colleges to open as usual and all business entities to operate as usual.
The minister indicated that the constitution of Zimbabwe allows the public to petition anyone on their grievances, however this should be done in a peaceful manner which does not interfere with other people’s rights.
He also reminded Zimbabweans that everyone is free to approach the President, Cde ED Mnangagwa on any issue before engaging on illegal demonstrations.
