His Excellency, the President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa has left the country to attend the 12th Africa-US Business Summit in Mocambique. The summit is themed “Advancing a Resilient and Sustainable US-Africa Partnership”
The summit which was established in the year 1997 will now be held annually and it is expected to bring together a number of Heads of state in the region. The President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa is among leaders who were invited by the President of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi.
The President was seen off at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by the Minister of Defense and War veterans Affairs, Cde Oppah MuchunguriKashiri, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Mishek Sibanda, Deputy Chief secretary to the Presidentand Cabinet responsible for Administration and finance Dr Martin Rushwayo, other senior government officials and service chiefs, among others.
The retired General Dr Constantino Chiwenga will be the Acting President in Cde Mnangagwa’s absence .
