The Vice President, Kembo Mohadi and other delegates were in a business forum launch today, the forum was a call for investment. The forum was also meant to avail opportunities to establish strategic alliances and partnerships as means of boosting the economy.
The vice president pointed out that the strategic partnership with Touchroad, a Chinese travel and tourist company has a capacity of increasing Zimbabwe’s market presence. He also highlighted that Zimbabwe has embarked on the use of digital marketing and looking forward to make use of Chinese social media platforms like WeChat.
He said that: “We need to share our own narrative working with friendly and strategic partners like Touchroad. Zimbabwe is just a gem, an awakening giant, a safe and secure tourism and investment destination”
He added that tourism is a key sector of Zimbabwe economy and emphasized that if it is managed well it can result in massive fruitful results across sectors with the resultant enhancement of the overall national income.
